 Les laur\u00e9ats du prix Nobel 2024 <\/strong>de physique sont d\u00e9sormais connus.  Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 ce mardi 08 octobre 202<\/strong>4 \u00e0 deux physiciens bien connus dans le monde scientifique. Il s\u2019agit de l\u2019Am\u00e9ricain John Hopfield<\/strong> et du Britanno-Canadien Geoffrey Hinton.<\/strong> \u00c2g\u00e9s respectivement de 91 ans et 76 ans, <\/strong>les deux laur\u00e9ats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9s sur leurs travaux sur l’intelligence artificielle et l’apprentissage automatique. Ceux-ci travaillent sur ce sujet depuis les ann\u00e9es 1980.<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0Je suis \u00e9bahi. Je n’imaginais pas que cela puisse arriver\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, a r\u00e9agi \u00e0 chaud Geoffrey Hinton joint par l\u2019un des jurys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Dans leurs recherches, John Hopfield a eu l\u2019id\u00e9e de cr\u00e9er \u201cune structure capable de stocker et de reconstruire des informations\u201d et quant \u00e0 Geoffrey Hinton, il a invent\u00e9 \u201cune m\u00e9thode capable de d\u00e9couvrir de mani\u00e8re ind\u00e9pendante des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s dans des donn\u00e9es\u201d, m\u00e9thode qui est devenue importante pour les grands r\u00e9seaux neuronaux artificiels actuellement utilis\u00e9s.  Selon les explications du comit\u00e9 Nobel sur X, <\/strong>\u201cJohn Hopfield a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une m\u00e9moire associative capable de stocker et de reconstruire des images et d’autres types de mod\u00e8les dans les donn\u00e9es<\/em>\u201d. Pour le comit\u00e9 Nobel, \u201cle r\u00e9seau Hopfield peut stocker des mod\u00e8les et dispose d’une m\u00e9thode pour les recr\u00e9er. Lorsque le r\u00e9seau re\u00e7oit un mod\u00e8le incomplet ou l\u00e9g\u00e8rement d\u00e9form\u00e9, la m\u00e9thode peut trouver le mod\u00e8le stock\u00e9 qui lui ressemble le plus.\u00a0\u00bb <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
