Pr\u00e9server la sant\u00e9 des populations b\u00e9ninoises demeure une priorit\u00e9 pour les autorit\u00e9s nationales. C\u2019est au vu de cela que le gouvernement a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de retirer du march\u00e9 b\u00e9ninois plusieurs marques de concentr\u00e9s de tomates jug\u00e9es non conformes aux normes en vigueur.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 cet effet, les produits concern\u00e9s : Leader, Richful et Top Premier, sont d\u00e9sormais interdits de commercialisation sur toute l\u2019\u00e9tendue du territoire national. La mesure a \u00e9t\u00e9 rendue publique \u00e0 travers un communiqu\u00e9 du minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Industrie et du Commerce, sign\u00e9 le 21 mai 2026 par la ministre Alimatou Shadiya Assouman.<\/p>\n

Selon\u00a0 ce communiqu\u00e9 l, ces concentr\u00e9s de tomates ne respecteraient pas les exigences r\u00e9glementaires en vigueur au B\u00e9nin. Le minist\u00e8re \u00e9voque ainsi un risque sanitaire potentiel, indiquant que \u00ab la consommation de ces produits pourrait constituer un risque de sant\u00e9 pour les populations \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Dans ce contexte, les autorit\u00e9s appellent les importateurs, distributeurs, d\u00e9taillants et autres op\u00e9rateurs \u00e9conomiques \u00e0 proc\u00e9der sans d\u00e9lai au retrait imm\u00e9diat des produits concern\u00e9s des circuits de distribution et des points de vente. Le communiqu\u00e9 pr\u00e9cise que ces acteurs doivent retirer lesdits produits d\u00e8s sa publication.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, dans le cadre de cette mesure restrictive, les consommateurs sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 la vigilance et \u00e0 s\u2019abstenir de toute consommation des produits incrimin\u00e9s. Les services comp\u00e9tents de l\u2019\u00c9tat annoncent \u00e9galement un renforcement des contr\u00f4les sur le march\u00e9 afin de pr\u00e9venir la circulation de denr\u00e9es non conformes.<\/p>\n

Le gouvernement pr\u00e9vient enfin que tout contrevenant \u00e0 cette d\u00e9cision s\u2019expose aux sanctions pr\u00e9vues par la r\u00e9glementation en vigueur.<\/p>\n
